Goin’ Home Today at 3pm

Donnie is very tired. Tired from being sick, and then slammed with chemo. He has a little gnawing nausea, but has powerful meds on board. So…Donnie's phone 047…even though he has some recuperating to do, we are getting to go home today. YAY!

David came to the hospital to help me take him home. He will stay with Donnie and care for his needs while I unpack. Connie is bringing homemade chicken soup for dinner…Yummy! This is so much easier to handle with help.

Keep praying for his recovery. He has to go to the oncologists office on Wed and Fri for his Neupogen shot. This can potentially give him bone pain. Pray he doesn’t get that side effect.

Thank you for your prayers and support!!!

I’m so happy you made it home, and just in time for Christmas! Thank you for allowing us all to be a part of your healing process. You are surrounded by a group of wonderful people whose love for you is obvious and tangible. What a blessing. I am constantly thinking of and praying for you and your beautiful family.

Donnie glad to hear you are home nothing like being in your own bed.  Darlene and I are continuing to pray and waiting on God’s miracle. Remember the Power of prayer is the strongest weapon we have in our arsenal. Praise God from whom all blessing flow, praise Him above ye Heavenly Host, praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost Amen & amen

Hang tough my brother, we love you.

So glad to hear you are able to go home!  Praying for you daily.  Merry Christmas to you and your Family!  Love you cuz

Hi Donnie and Tina,

I think a lot of us got what we wanted for Christmas today. And that was for you to be home, we are all so glad to hear that. Keep up the good work Dose, it seems like you’ve got the whole world prayin for ya. The out-pouring of love and prayers from so many people is a testament to what kind of people ya’ll are. What I find amazing is: I don’t think I’ve ever heard so many people  rootin’ and cheerin’ for, and then being so thankful for, another person takin’ a dump!!! You are truly a one-in-a-million person Donnie (no, I guess you’re a two-in-a-million person). We’re prayin’ for ya cuz, see ya’ll soon.

We love you guys, Bubba and Tracey

I’m soooo happy to hear this news!  Praying for you everyday Uncle Donnie. Love you dearly. Have a wonderful Christmas filled with love and joy!

So glad to hear that you’re HOME, Donnie and Tina.  Praying that the nausea and any discomfort from the Neupogen shots are minimal. What a testament to the power of prayer! We wish both of you and your family a most Blessed and Merry Christmas.  xoxo

Hurray! Back to your own bed! Keep hanging in there, all of you! You are in my thoughts and prayers always! XO, Court

This is great news. You will feel so much better being home. The shot did not give me bone pain maybe you will not get the pain also.

Merry Christmas. Love you both

Very very happy that he’s going home. Just being out of the hospital usually lifted Dads spirits.

I spoke to my Powdersville Kidspring leadership team today and asked them to join in our prayers! Donnie is such a good man and I want the absolute best for him. I know we all do! I just wish I could do more.
