The day started off with some one-on-one time with Brianna. She and Pa watched “Hercules”, while they enjoyed oatmeal and fresh fruit. Then they did a little coloring. Donnie let Bri pick which beanie she wanted to wear. Since she was “a police” last year for Halloween, it was no surprise to him that she picked the MP beanie.
Donnie continues to be without nausea. We feel very blessed, as this is the time when he would typically be having nausea after his chemo. Praise the Lord!!
Special guests started to arrive at noon today. Donnie’s first cousins Billy and Di (and Di’s husband Brian) came to see him from Brandon. They are more like brother’s and sister’s than cousins to Donnie. Their visit was so special to Donnie!! Lots of reminiscing was going on 🙂

After about an hour, Tommy and Suzie Brown from our church (WaterStone Fellowship) brought communion for us to our home. Billy got to partake of communion with Donnie and me, which was very special. We were so pleased that Tommy and Suzie gave us this wonderful opportunity!

Next, some dear friends from Brandon came to see Donnie as a surprise: The Willis family. Sharon was like a sister to Donnie growing up, and the Willis family holds a very, very special place in his heart. Dave Willis was even my Sunday School teacher years before Donnie and I met. It’s a small world. Dave is still a character, so lots of laughing was had all around. I’m pretty sure I’ll never be able to say “OK” ever again without laughing about him and Peggy!!!

Then the Trinkle sisters came to visit, another set of cousins. It is really special to have so much family that loves Donnie (of course, it is very mutual). A fun visit was had by all, with lots of silly and I must say pretty bad jokes being told all around!

The evening was completed by eating a delicious meal sent to us from Belinda Gale (another wonderful cousin in Brandon), strawberry shortcake from Cheryl (an old neighbor), and the clean up by Brian (my brother) and Lauri. We are exhausted, but well loved!!!!!! Donnie had a wonderful day.
Please pray for an improving appetite, weight gain, and no nausea. We cherish your prayers.
Much love, Donnie & Tina

I have one observation and two questions:
Observation: Donnie looks GREAT! Good color, big smile. Way awesome (praise God).
Question 1: is that Donnie in bed with 3 women who are NOT his wife? Hmmm…
Question 2: is wife OK with that?
