Now we have had 2 great days . . . 2 great days without nausea = food tastes so good! Not only did he eat a good breakfast, he ate a Chick-fil-a sandwich and milkshake for lunch, and pork roast with mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner (from Connie-bug). He was awake all day. Took a couple of cat naps, but awake most of the day. Man!!! It has been so good to have 2 good days. Whew!!!
All our children were over today. Jeff stayed with Donnie at the hospital overnight, then Jeff and Beau helped me bring Donnie home this afternoon. David, Rachael and Jared (with Bradley) came over around 7pm. It was wonderful being with all of them today. Donnie was even picking up Bradley and kissing him. That was wonderful to see, since he has not had the energy to do that in weeks. What a blessing 🙂
My brother Brian and his wife Lauri are here from California to help us. We are so grateful for our gigantic and wonderful family! I’m hoping they will cook a little for us . . . they are great cooks! I’ll keep you posted 🙂
No side effects from the chemo yet. Please keep praying for no nausea and minimal side effects from the chemo. He will get chemo again on Friday. We are praising God for these 2 really positive days!!

Thank God, so glad Donnie is feeling better. So glad the nausea is gone and he is feeling a little stronger. God certainly hears prayers.
