Donnie, Beau and I are walking down the hall of the hospital together this morning (Donnie is a very good and self-motivated patient!), and an announcement was made over the loud speaker on our floor that Dr. de la Fuente is on the floor.  Dr. de la Fuente came around the corner with Daniel, Donnie’s nurse, looking for us in the hallway, to tell us that all the pathology reports are back and there is NO CANCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What breath-taking news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PRAISE BE TO GOD, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE AND THE AUTHOR OF LOVE, FOR GRACIOUSLY ANSWERING OUR PRAYERS!!  WE ARE SO THANKFUL FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH HIM THROUGH PRAYER, AND THAT HE ALREADY KNOWS OUR EVERY NEED . . . AND THAT HE HAS THE STRENGTH TO MOVE MOUNTAINS.  Thank you, Lord, for hearing our humble cries on Donnie’s behalf.

Last night this sunset was seen through the windows of Donnie’s room on the 14th floor of the Ginsburg Tower of Florida Hospital.  I was amazed at how beautiful it was, the beautiful lightening that was seen in the dark areas on the left, and thought how beautiful God made the earth for us. Even during this difficult time, God puts things in nature to give me peace.  I really needed that yesterday, and He knew it.

We have an appointment with Dr. Z (oncologist) in a week and a half.  We will find out from him at that time what the next plan of action will be.  I will keep you posted when we have good information.

There are no words to express the gratitude Donnie and I, our children, and our entire family have for your faithful prayers on our behalf during this journey.  We are so grateful for your love and kindness.  May God bless you all.
