The long-awaited tumor marker results are in

Our precious PA (physician’s assistant) from Dr. Zehngebot’s office called yesterday to tell us that Donnie’s tumor marker is 9.6.  She repeated it twice to be sure we heard it right.  If you recall, his first level was in the 500’s, then down to the 250’s, then 44, and now 9.6.  Normal values are 0-30.  Wow, wow, wow!!!  God is our strength and our healer!!!

You know Donnie . . . he says, “I don’t know why you get so excited T (my nickname from him) about small things like that.”  That’s when I tell him that I love him, and every small victory makes me so happy for him!!!!  It’s just the way we roll together 🙂

Thursday we go back to the clinic for blood work, to be sure his blood cell counts are improving.  Please pray they are moving upward, so he can fight this disease with strength and perseverance.

Sorry, no pictures of Donnie today.  I thought the news of his tumor markers was worth posting for everyone.  Here is what I have been doing for therapy lately . . . cheaper than seeing a psychiatrist, and much more rewarding!!  Not sure the yard trash guys will think the same.  HA!

Also, I have attempted my first cute table arrangement of flowers, taught to me by the illustrious Frances Conner!!  Flowers make me happy.  Thank you Lord for the beautiful creations you put on this earth to remind us of you.

Thanks be to God!!!  So incredibly awesome Tina!  So thankful for your testimony and how encouraging it is to others and glorifies the Lord – our purpose here.  Love it all so much!

So happy to hear this wonderful news!!! You are always in our prayers Donnie and Tina! Love you guys!!!!

What wonderful news!  Tina, I do the very same thing for therapy.  People always say, you need to hire a yard service!  Most of my neighbors have one.  I’m my own yard service!!!  I love it.  That is from  my father’s DNA—he always used yard work to help himself stay sane.  Keep going Tina!  Keep going Donnie!  One day at a time.  Love and prayers continuing.
