So . . . 12 days with no nausea . . . 12 days of increasing stamina (even though it is small, it is in the right direction) . . . 12 days of improved eating . . . 12 days of more joy and happiness (Donnie singing and laughing more) . . . prayer is so powerful!!! Donnie and I had a discussion today: Is God working a miracle in Donnie’s life? These 12 days have been a gift for both Donnie and for me. We do not take them for granted. If the miracle is that he has had 12 days of improvement, it is a blessing! His prognosis has not changed, but clinically he is so much better than he was 12 days ago. Of course, he continues to have a positive attitude about it all (God’s grace that passes all understanding!). Many thanks to all the prayer warriors that are praying for him. It lifts us both up.
Today was a busy day of visitors for him. Jeff and Karen Nelson took us to eat at Sonny’s for lunch, after which he took a 3 hour nap (visiting really saps his energy, but it is also very positive for him). Then Cathy and Burt Grippin brought dinner to us and visited for a short while. Then close friends Roy and Janet Lumsden came from Brandon to see us. It was a very positive and special day for Donnie!!
Donnie has improved a little, and would love to see his friends. If you would like to come, maybe several of you could come in small groups to see him. Just text one of us, and I will coordinate. Sending our love!!

God is so good. 12 days and counting..the fantastic thing …you are giving Him the glory..we all should realize each day he gives us is from Him.. I’m going to work on that!
