Donnie still battling waves of fairly wicked nausea.  Sunday night he vomited twice, which is a huge energy expenditure for someone who is weak.  We called Dr. Z Monday morning, and he decided to admit Donnie to WP Hospital.  He will be getting his anti-nausea medications IV, which are more effective than by mouth, and he will be getting TPN (total parenteral nutrition) again, the IV fluids that give him NUTRITION.  The plan will be for Donnie to go HOME on TPN this time.

So, he is at the hospital for a bit of a tune-up.  He weighs 149 pounds.  Rodger came over for moral support and morale support on Monday, and Donnie’s Mom will be coming over today.  Thank heaven for family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Donnie can’t stand the hospital food, so we are back to providing “meals on wheels” for him 🙂

Please pray Donnie’s nausea will GO AWAY.  Pray the TPN will give his gut and his body the nutrition it needs to heal.  Pray for strength and improvement.  Donnie continues to be strong in heart, never a complainer, and continues to be strong in his love for the Lord.

Thank you, God, for walking through this journey with us.  We give you the honor and the glory for all the time you have given us with Donnie thus far, and all the time we have yet to enjoy with him.   We pray, in Jesus name, to the God of the Universe, the Alpha and Omega, the finisher of our faith, that if it be your will, to take this nausea from Donnie.  We pray in Jesus name, amen.
