Donnie’s IV antiemetics worked like a charm.  In 12 hours from admission tot he hospital, Donnie has no nausea.  It was a pretty wonderful day yesterday, as he walked outside of the hospital with me, sat on the park bench for a bit, then took a short lap around the fountain.  He ate better than he has in a month.  He was asking for food and snacks inbetween meals.  His sweet Momma brought homemade vegetables, chicken and cornbread to him for lunch.  He took a shower, which usually wears him out, but it didn’t.  He walked again in the afternoon with his Mom.  It was a very uplifting day for him.

He was very talkative yesterday, which he has not been in a while.  Nausea just sort of ruins your world.  He was started on TPN last night, so we will see what today brings.  A couple of weeks ago when he started on TPN, he felt amazingly better in 24 hours.  Hoping that is the case again.

Thank you for all your prayers.  We have been so blessed to see answered prayer in motion.  We continue to be grateful to God for all the blessings on Donnie’s behalf thus far.  Please continue to pray for no nausea, improved eating, and improved strength.
