Dr Z feels Donnie’s zany activity (like jumping jacks in the military, paperwork in the ICU, answering his phone when the IV pump beeps) is all due to his pain medication. His pain meds have been cut way back, to get him out of his “DT’s” as I call it 🙂 Don’t worry…he’s not in pain.
Dr Z says he will keep Donnie in the hospital until he gets his chemo again this week, especially since he needs IV fluids. He is eating and drinking very little.
Thanks be to the Lord of Heaven and Earth for the amazing care Donnie receives. Even in his crazy drug induced stupor, he still says thank you to everyone, including Dr Z. What a nice guy!!!!!!
Will post again tonight with his progress today. Keep praying for him!! We send our love to you all, and appreciate you keeping up with Donnie through his blog!!

Zany activity?? Sweetie, I have known Donnie and Ronnie every day of my 54 years. And believe me, that is “normal activity”(for him, anyway). I’m sure you know that too! They are two of the “zaniest” people there are! That’s what makes them so much fun to be around. And that’s why there is so much love and prayers going out to you guys. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. Love ya

Even in the middle of the battle, Donnie can find away to be hilarious! His humor and smile are what I remember most! Love that about him! God is so good and so big and I know He has you all wrapped in His grace and love! Love to you all!

I just hope you’re getting video of this interesting behavior so we can use it against him when he pulls through all of this stuff. You know, the way you’d threaten to show a “little-boy-naked-in-the-bathtub” picture to your teenage son’s girlfriend 🙂 Except in this case, I think Donnie will get the biggest laugh of all from it 😉
