Yesterday afternoon, Donnie’s abdomen became distended. He had started eating a full diet, but his intestines had other ideas about not being ready. He is having an xray of his tummy right now to be sure there is not a surgical problem. He is still in good spirits, despite the pain of his situation. He said to Beau this morning, “I’m ready to birth this baby, but I don’t want to know if its a boy or a girl!” He makes me laugh, even when it isn’t so funny.
As you can see, we will not be going home today. Please pray that this is a simple problem with a quick resolution.

Did he follow he is own advice? Take it slow. Michael remembers how he liked 9 months pregnant and found out he was full of infection. Probably a few more days for safety.
