Getting over a cold (we think)

Donnie continues to have NO nausea, and continues to wean on his antiemetics. Less medication is always the goal here.  So thankful he can wean his medications, and still have no nausea.  This is such a big praise.

He seemed to have a cold of some sort this week, so he was extra tired and his bones were “achy.”  He is getting a bit better from that.  He has not felt like doing anything but sitting on the couch and resting.  He sleeps a lot.  Good news is that he gets to skip chemo this week . . . YAHOO!!  You know how tired he was feeling, when he missed a Veteran’s Day celebration (including wonderful food) at the Methodist Church with some of his favorite people!!

He also missed Brianna’s birthday party at Friendship Park (she was 7). Our kids helped build that little park “back in the day!”  What a great place for kids to have a birthday and play.  Of course, it was a “FROZEN” experience 🙂

Donnie was feeling good this past Monday (before his cold), so he got to see Bri on her birthday and sing to her, which made her laugh (he’s still so silly and fun!).

Donnie continues to get his IV nutrition:  TPN.  He continues to eat fairly decently. . . not as much as he used to eat, but he is eating as much as I eat, so that is a praise, too.

Psalms 100:  …4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him and bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.  Blessed is the name of the Lord.  Amen.

Love,  Donnie & Tina

So glad the nausea is better and Donnie's appetite is still good. Sorry to hear about the cold though. That can make anyone feel miserable and tired. The pics are beautiful, thank you for sharing. Love and Prayers your way.

Praying for a good day!!! Hope the cold want last long. Colds make us all feel crummy! We love all of you!😘💕
