Donnie continues to be in no pain (and on NO pain meds), eating well (and I mean with a big appetite), and feeling good most of the time. He is having difficulty with the neuropathy in his feet (irritating numbness and nerve tingling you can’t ignore). He is still taking his neurontin without side effects.
This was a busy week, full of wonderful times with friends and family. Dr. Sidiqqi, one of Donnie’s friends from the ICU, took him to lunch at a delicious Turkish restaurant. He drove his “Lambo” as he calls it affectionately, and offered for Donnie to drive it . . . Donnie said maybe another day, but he still looks great in the photo opp 🙂

Donnie really enjoyed his 5 hour lunch with Dr. Sidiqqi . . . no telling what stories cannot be repeated there! Donnie also enjoyed a great afternoon of pool with Jim Giordano at his home. He really enjoys getting out with special friends.
Brianna graduated from kindergarten this year, and her

entourage (her family) was in attendance…11 of us! Even great grandmother “Nanny” got to see her sing her hilariously precious songs. They even made books that are readable to small children. Great teacher, Ms. Norman!!!! These are the moments that make you smile!!

On Friday, Donnie and I drove to Brandon, FL, with Dad and Beau. We attended a celebration of life service for Mr. Paul Glasscock, one of my Dad’s best friends (and his wife Lurlene was one of my Mom’s best friends!). It was bitter sweet . . . always sad to say goodbye to someone so wonderful . . . but sweet seeing the entire family (my brother and I grew up very close to all their children) . . . and one of my closest childhood friends, Pam Glasscock.

As the service was at Hillsborough Memorial Gardens, we took the opportunity to visit Brett’s final resting place (Donnie’s son). He is buried by a beautiful huge tree (that used to be pretty small), and it is always sweet to reminisce about him!! It was an emotional but sweet day!

We are pleased to be going to Memphis this next week to see Don & Elaine (my brother and sister-in-love) and their awesome family! We are both really looking forward to seeing them and all the kids! So grateful Donnie feels good and wants to go 🙂
Please continue to pray for relief from neuropathy for Donnie, and pray for continued strength to prepare for surgery on June 15th. We continue to praise God for the innumerable blessings he has bestowed on Donnie. We are all grateful for this time shared with him. We can’t thank you enough for your prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have made all the difference, as you must know.
Love, Donnie & Tina

I guess I just keep typing in the above section and it surely won't go if I do.
So glad to hear Donnie is doing so good, except for the neuropathy. Hopefully, the Neurontin will start working better soon.
