Donnie is feeling great, except for the neuropathy in his feet. It is irritating, and always there. Other than that, he is doing AWESOME!!! No pain and no pain meds, no nausea and no nausea meds, no extra medications at all except for his neuropathy medications. We are very pleased. Also, due to no chemo, lots of relaxation at Panama City Beach, great food, and great company, he seems to be getting some of his “silver fox” hair growing back in. It’s like fine duck down at this point, but it is definitely coming back 🙂

After a couple of days at the beach, off to see our precious Sparks family in Memphis. My brother has two children, Christie and Michael. They both have two children each, and we are over-the-moon for all of them! It was so wonderful for Donnie to get “LOVED ON” by all of them. Great medicine for heart and health!!

Laura Mae (9 years old) made an announcement in the middle of the entire family. She said she had something very important to tell her 4th grade class. She looked at Donnie, pointed her finger at him and said, “That he is a survivor!!!” What a doll she is!! That’s the stuff that makes you get well!!

You can see the energy in Donnie’s face and in his smile. It was really great being with our Memphis family . . . only wish all our kids could have come with us. We are all crazy about each other!!
We are back home, awaiting Sophia’s 3rd birthday party this weekend (Rachael’s 2nd child). She is a character, so we are sure she will LOVE her party!!

Thank you for your perseverance in praying for Donnie. We are ever grateful! Please pray for improved neuropathy in his feet, and strength for the upcoming surgery on June 15th.
Love, Donnie & Tina
