Saturday and Sunday we took a trip to Winter Park Hospital to get a liter or so of IV fluids (and IV Zofran). Donnie is very tired, nauseated, and not drinking or eating much. I called Dr. Z to discuss the possibility of getting IV fluids at home. It was quicker on the weekend for us to get them in the hospital on an outpatient basis, so that’s what we did. It was really quick and easy, as we got to go to the oncology floor where we know the nurses, stay for 2 hours, then come home. Of course the ride to and from the hospital is hard on Donnie, but he made it without getting sick, hallelulia!! Beau rode with us on Saturday, and Rachael rode with us on Sunday, to help with damage control if Donnie got sick . . . but he didn’t . . . yay!!
He is not really up to any visitors, and so far, has not been up to even talking on the phone. The chemo is just wiping him out. It will get better, but for now, that’s the way it is. I’ll definitely let you know when he is up to it.
Donnie’s Mom is coming back today to stay with us this week. It is a huge help to both of us. So grateful for wonderful family!! We are just taking it a day at a time. We are praying that the Abraxane and Gemzar work like they did last time. If you recall, it took a couple of months for Donnie to get past this initial shock to his body of the chemo. We are hoping he will get past this difficult two months, and start improving again. Only time will tell. His pain management has definitely improved, which is a big praise.
God has blessed us in so many ways through this difficult time. Please continue to pray for Donnie’s strength, improvement in eating and drinking, and the efficacy of the chemo on the disease. As always, we are grateful for your prayers, cards, words of encouragement, delicious food, lawn mowing, and other sweet gestures of love. So, so, so grateful!
Love, Donnie & Tina

Prayers to both of you! Hope you start feeling better soon.💝💝👍
I think of you all everyday. Donnie I keep praying for all cancer cells to be gone, for your strength to return and for you to be filled with Vim & Vigor (I just like saying Vim & Vigor) 😉 I also wish for your appetite to come back and I could bring over a big bag of Carmine's devil crabs and chow down with you guys. I'm sending love, hugs, thoughts and prayers your way.

God Bless you both. You two have been through so much. I know God will see you through this. Much love and prayers continue your way. If we can help in any way please do not hesitate to call. Love ya
Tina, you are such a blessing to Donnie, and all of us really. Thank you so much for the constant updates as we all are so concerned. I'm sure it's the easiest way, or you'd be fielding phone calls day and night. Please know you're in our prayers constantly, and if you guys ever need anything at all, it would be an honor to help any way we can. I know that a lot of family are making trips to Oviedo from Brandon, and back. If you guys need a shuttle for family, I'd be honored to help, just give me a call. We love you guys, and Donnie is one of my two favorite cousins (get it?). Tell Donnie "Hi" for us, and give him our love.

Glad Dinnie was able to get hydration a nod some relief from the nausea. Stay strong and keep fighting like a Mac! Seriously, if we can help in any way please let us know how we can help. We don't know what it is that you need but we are more willing help if you tell us.
Hugs to you both and all our Love.

We are keeping you and Donnie in our thoughts and prayers. Chemotherapy is rough on the body. I hope Donnie can bounce back so he can eat and not get sick. His body needs rest now so give him our love and hugs to you.
