There have been lots of ups and downs lately. Donnie has a good morning, then in the afternoon he feels bad and goes to bed for 4-5 hours. Sometimes just feeling crummy, sometimes exhausted, sometimes nauseated. I have not been blogging, because those changes happen quickly and almost daily. Please continue to pray for his nausea to be under control. He continues to have very little pain.
So, WHAT A BLESSING . . . Donnie had a very good day on Thanksgiving (go figure!). All of our children, grandchildren, my Dad, Donnie’s Mom, Donnie’s brother’s and his sister and their spouses and their children . . . all in all, there were 30 of us. It was a beautiful day outside, and we ate, played games, played guitars and sang, and visited the day away. Donnie felt good the entire day, and we were all blessed to enjoy each other, and the wonderful blessing of having Donnie with us!! Many wonderful things were said, and of course, we thanked God for the amazing blessing of our families (and all them that were not with us this year).

The girls love their Pa, and wanted a special picture with him. Love!!

It was great watching Donnie enjoy everyone!! At the end of the day, he even felt like cutting up with his siblings . . . the norm!

Today (Friday) Donnie woke up, felt good, and off we went to IHOP. He started feeling bad during breakfast, and I took him home where he was back in the bed all day until 6 pm, feeling nauseated and crummy. Please continue to pray for his comfort, and for good moments he can enjoy. We cherish the good moments, and praise God for all He has brought us though thus far.
Happy Thanksgiving to all our friends and family!! Love, Donnie & Tina

Dear Tina and Donnie,
We are so thankful that Donnie was able to enjoy a wonderful day with his family on Thanksgiving. He got a whole good day, too, and not just part of the day feeling good. Praise the Lord.
We are continuing to pray for the nausea and all problems you encounter.
Sure enjoyed seeing the pictures of you all having a great time. Beautiful family picture…
The Lord is NOT done with Donnie yet!!!
We are so happy to hear about your Thanksgiving: that Donnie felt so well and you had so many family members there to enjoy the day. What a blessing! I loved seeing the photos of everyone so happy and thankful. We continue to pray for Donnie's nausea, strength, and continued healing. Thank you for the updates. It helps to know how to pray. When I wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep (a problem with women my age 🙂 ) I pray for Donnie. Hugs to all of you!
Every time we hear of a good day for y'all we stop & thank God for it. Greetings from all the McDonald's-you were much discussed on Thanksgiving & much missed on Pie Night.
Tina and Donnie, God Bless you both, for you have both been through so much. I continue to pray for Donnie's nausea and weakness and tiredness to improve. What a blessing that you both got to spend the day on Thanksgiving with family and friends. Praise God. Please know that I am praying each night for God's love and mercy for you both.
There is so much to be thankful for. Love and prayer
Was glad to see the FB pictures from Lorraine of your family time yesterday. Praying for you both daily. Hope to come see you guys again some time soon. Love ya,
